Evidence‑Based Psychological Assessments That Provide Clarity and Direction
Mental Health Solutions provides comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and neurocognitive assessments for children (ages 8–12), adolescents (ages 13–17), and adults and older adults (ages 18–65). Our evaluations are clinically informed and thoughtfully tailored to the specific concerns that bring individuals and families to care.
Assessments are conducted using multiple evidence‑based methods to gather a thorough understanding of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. The purpose of assessment is to clearly identify and clarify areas of difficulty, explain how these challenges affect daily life, learning, relationships, or performance, and provide meaningful, practical guidance for treatment planning and next steps. We are committed to delivering comprehensive, understandable answers that help clients and families make informed decisions and move forward with clarity, confidence, and support. Our goal is not just assessment—but direction, collaboration, and a clear path forward

Fees, Insurance, & Good Faith Estimates
The cost of an assessment will vary depending on the type of assessment and the number of a tests administered. An assessment can range from $450 to $2300. Most insurance companies vary in what they cover, and some will only pay a portion of the costs. We will work with you and your insurance company to determine the amount covered. We are in-network with most major insurance companies to include: Medica, UMR, MA, UCARE, BCBS, HP, Tricare, HennepinHealth, and United Healthcare. We also accept private pay, sliding-scale, and can work with you on various payment options that fit your specific situation.
We also understand that most people do not have the ability to pay the total costs before the appointment. Remember, our number one goal is to provide the answers to improving you and your loved one’s life. As such, we have flexible, no-interest payment plans if you are unable to cover the costs at the time of appointment.
Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act” which requires practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” about out-of-network care. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), health care providers and healthcare facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan, that prior to service they are entitled to receive (both orally and in writing) a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. A Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for a service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created.
Should this apply to you, your healthcare provider will gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day prior to the start of service. If you are billed more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
