Medication Management

Personalized, Expert‑Led Medication Management

At Mental Health Solutions, medication management is never about simply prescribing or adding medications—it is about thoughtful, individualized care guided by expertise, collaboration, and respect for the whole person. Our experienced clinicians take the time to understand each individual’s unique history, symptoms, goals, and lived experience, recognizing that effective treatment means caring for the person as a whole, not just treating a diagnosis.

We place a strong emphasis on using the minimal amount of medication—and the lowest effective dose—necessary to support meaningful improvement. Medication decisions are made carefully and intentionally, balancing benefits, potential side effects, and long‑term wellness. Our approach prioritizes clarity, precision, and ongoing evaluation to ensure medications remain appropriate, effective, and aligned with your values and treatment goals.

Medication management is grounded in evidence‑based practice and integrated with therapy and other supports when appropriate, allowing for a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care. Treatment plans are continuously reviewed and adjusted as needed, ensuring responsiveness as symptoms evolve or goals change.

All medication management sessions are conducted via telehealth using secure, HIPAA‑compliant software, offering ease, flexibility, and convenience without compromising clinical quality. Telehealth access allows for efficient scheduling, timely follow‑ups, and responsive care—making it easier to stay engaged, ask questions, and make informed decisions about your treatment.

Our commitment is to provide expert guidance, collaborative decision‑making, and personalized care—so medication remains a supportive tool, used thoughtfully and intentionally to promote long‑term well‑being and measurable progress.

Fees, Insurance, & Good Faith Estimates

Medication services range in prices from $150.00 - $250 per session, based on time and service. We are in-network with most major insurance companies to include: Medica, UMR, MA, UCARE, BCBS, HP, Tricare, HennepinHealth, and United Healthcare. We also accept private pay, sliding-scale, and can work with you on various payment options that fit your specific situation.

We also understand that most people do not have the ability to pay the total costs before the appointment. Remember, our number one goal is to provide the answers to improving you and your loved one’s life. As such, we have flexible, no-interest payment plans if you are unable to cover the costs at the time of appointment.

Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act” which requires practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” about out-of-network care. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), health care providers and healthcare facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan, that prior to service they are entitled to receive (both orally and in writing) a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. A Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for a service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created.

Should this apply to you, your healthcare provider will gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day prior to the start of service. If you are billed more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
